Vonnie is the founder of Camino Consulting and a registered Counselling Psychologist. He has 25 years of experience in Organisational Development Interventions, Executive Coaching and Leadership & Management Development processes. He is a faculty member of the University of Stellenbosch Business School and a Certified Facilitator of Young Presidents Organisation (a global organisation for CEOs). His integrity and value-based leadership made Camino Consulting a company with a strong reputation in the market that is known for its professional customer service.
Dr. Johann Oostenbrink focuses mainly on organisational and strategic development of companies as well as coaching of emerging and executive leaders. As an Organisational Development Specialist, Johann is registered as a Chartered HR Practitioner at SABPP. His record speaks for itself and many companies are living testimonies of his influence while growing their leaders.
Karen has a Master’s Degree in HR Management and is registered with SABPP and COMENSA. She runs projects aimed at the strategising of the Human Resources functions of companies and implementing best HR practices. Karen has a strong background in Payroll and electronic HR systems. She is recognised for her academical work done on Principled Leadership and developed an assessment tool on the same topic.
Yolande is registered as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA. She has more than 10 years of experience and knows psychometric and competency-based assessments through and through. She follows a strict commitment to the ethical and professional use of assessment tools while ensuring fair and fact-based decision-making regarding people.
Sonja enjoyed a wide exposure to various sectors before joining Camino Consulting. She is a registered Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Her work experience includes psychological assessments, developing competency models, leadership development, coaching, and leading change processes. The passion and enthusiasm for her profession makes Sonja a contagious and inspiring leader.
Marinus is an Industrial Psychologist, currently focussing on Human Resource Management, Psychometrics, and Learning and Development. He is also taking a leading role in Camino Recruit. He has a business background – owning and managing retail businesses. Marinus approaches any task with enthusiasm and brings a positive energy to the projects and people he encounters.
Maritsa registered as an Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA in 2016. She did her Master’s thesis on positive psychology, focusing specifically on psychological well-being at work. She has a variety of HR and assessment experience in the corporate sector. She aims to apply her skill set holistically when assisting clients with their Human Resource strategy. Her work approach is positive and constructive; and she always search for ways to increase efficiency in the workplace.
Elizabeth has a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology and is a registered Psychometrist with the HPCSA. She has previous experience as a behavioural scientist, and appreciates the complexity of human behaviour. She has a passion for psychometric test development. Elizabeth’s current focus is recruitment and selection where she applies her understanding of organisations and people to match candidates with clients.
Douglas has more than 11 years’ experience as an accredited facilitator. This, coupled with his passion for principled based solutions, makes him effective in relating to people at all levels. He has this admirable ability to be fluent in four South African languages (English, Xhosa, Afrikaans & Zulu). He is known for his work in empowering and growing people’s self-belief and transforming them into the best versions they can be.
Tanya studied PR & Business Communication and spent many years doing Corporate Communication, with a strong focus on HR and company culture related communications and initiatives. She has also over the years worked in events and marketing and often writes blogs for retail companies. Tanya offers administrative support to the Camino Consulting team to ease their workload and help ensure excellent customer service. She is the friendly voice that will most likely greet you when you call the office.
Eileen is a registered Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA. Her work experience includes exposure to psychometric assessments, performance management, employee engagement, talent management, as well as learning and development. She has worked on HR projects in the financial services, legal, technology, and logistics sectors. She values strong relationships and connecting with others in a meaningful way. Eileen takes responsibility for the managing of the day-to-day operations of Camino and is always willing to assist with any client queries.
